At Betano, we apply a Close-Loop Policy to protect your funds and prevent fraud. This means that, whenever possible, your withdrawals will be processed using the same payment method you used for your deposit.
What is the Close-Loop Policy?
The Close-Loop Policy ensures that funds deposited into your account are withdrawn using the same method. For example:
- If you deposited using a VISA card, your withdrawal will be sent to the same card.
- If you used a wallet like Yape or Plin to deposit, we’ll attempt to process the withdrawal back to that wallet.
- If you used a bank transfer, the withdrawal will be sent to that same bank account.
This helps ensure that funds are returned to the rightful account owner and prevents the use of third-party payment methods.
What if the method is no longer available?
If the payment method you used to deposit is no longer active (e.g., the card was cancelled or the bank account was closed), you’ll be asked to choose a valid alternative. In that case:
- Make sure to select a method under your own name.
- You may be asked to verify your identity or upload additional documents.
- The withdrawal might take longer while we complete the necessary checks.
Recommendations
- Always use payment methods that are in your name.
- If you need to update your payment info, do so before requesting a withdrawal.
