Do I have to declare my winnings?
Yes, according to the tax laws of each country, it may be mandatory to declare your winnings.
As stated in Betano’s Terms and Conditions (Clause 7.1.6):
“The user is solely responsible for reporting and accounting for any applicable tax, under the relevant laws, on any winnings received from Kaizen.”
Even though Betano does not withhold taxes, the user is responsible for complying with their tax obligations before the relevant tax authority.
Can this change in the future?
Yes. If legislation changes and taxes are introduced on winnings, Betano will adjust its processes to comply with the new regulations.
In that case, users will be notified in advance of any changes that may affect withdrawals or winnings.
