Overview
As part of Betano's ongoing commitment to account security, we have implemented a new alert designed to keep you informed about unusual login activities.
What It Is
When a successful login to your Betano account is made from a device that has not been previously marked as trusted, you will receive a security alert.
This can happen in different situations, for example:
You log in from a new computer or mobile device that you have not yet marked as trusted.
Your login credentials are compromised and someone tries to access your account from an unknown device.
Purpose
This alert allows you to know immediately if your account was accessed from an untrusted device.
In this way, you can confirm whether the login was made by you or if it might be unauthorized access.
If it wasn't you who logged in, you can quickly review your account activity and take measures to protect it.
If the login was made by you, no action is necessary.
Why It Is Important
Unknown devices can be an early sign that an account might have been compromised.
Immediate notifications help you detect unusual activity quickly and respond before possible misuse occurs, reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
How You Will Be Notified
You will receive an email from Betano informing you that your account was accessed from an untrusted device.
The email will include details about the login.
If you do not recognize the access, the message will advise you to review activity and change your password to protect your account.
Important
Always verify that the alert comes from Betano's official address (noreply@betano.pe) before taking any action. This helps ensure that you are responding to a legitimate message and not a phishing attempt.
