Gold Substitute transfers your bet to the substitute player when the player you chose is replaced during the match, and the substitute inherits the statistical progress that the original player had already achieved. For example, if you bet that a player would make "2+ shots on goal" and they make 1 shot before leaving, the substitute only needs to make 1 more shot for your bet to win. This offer is available in player markets marked with the Gold Substitute icon.
Which bets qualify for Gold Substitute?
- Applies to bets placed before the match and also during live play.
- Includes single bets, multiples (accumulators), and Bet Builder bets, when permitted in the corresponding market.
- Only applies to qualifying football matches, within the 90 regular minutes (including injury or stoppage time); it does not cover extra time or penalties, unless the specific market indicates otherwise.
- The "Substitution before Halftime" offer does not apply in leagues covered by Gold Substitute.
- This offer applies to eligible bets placed from January 19, 2026, the date it was activated on the platform.
What happens if the result was already decided before the substitution, or if I do Cash Out?
If the outcome of your bet was already determined before the player substitution occurred, the offer does not apply and the bet is settled under normal rules. It also does not apply if you cashed out the bet before the substitution. Even if the substitute enters the match, if they do not meet the requirements of the original market, the bet is lost anyway.
How is the player substitution confirmed?
The replacement is confirmed through the official data provider (Opta) and appears on your betting slip. The substitute must have officially entered the match and be confirmed by the data provider for the bet transfer to activate. If your player is not replaced, the bet continues as normal. If the substitute is also replaced, the bet continues to transfer to the next player who enters, under the same conditions.
