Baccarat is a casino table game in which two hands are compared: Player and Banker. The goal is to bet on which of the two will have a value closest to 9 or if there will be a tie.
How does the game work?
The dealer deals cards to the Player's hand and the Banker's hand.
The value of the cards is calculated as follows:
- Cards from 2 to 9 retain their face value.
- 10, J, Q, and K are worth 0.
- The Ace is worth 1.
If the total exceeds 9, only the last digit counts (for example: 14 = 4).
Types of bets
- Player: you win if the Player's hand is higher.
- Banker: you win if the Banker's hand is higher.
- Tie: both hands have the same score.
How do I win?
You win if you bet on the correct outcome.
The payout depends on the type of bet and the version of the game (for example: the Banker bet usually has a standard commission according to the provider’s rules).
