At Betano, a negative balance can occur in exceptional situations. The most common is the resettlement of a bet.
What is bet resettlement?
Resettlement occurs when, after a bet has been settled, an error is detected in the initial event information (such as an incorrect result or erroneous statistical data). In these cases, the bet is reviewed and settled again based on the official data corrected by our provider.
Why does a negative balance appear?
This can happen if:
- Your bet was initially settled as a winner.
- You used those winnings to place another bet or make a withdrawal.
- The bet was then resettled as a loser because the official result indicated otherwise.
In that case, the original winnings are reversed, and if you had already used them, the system will show a negative balance equivalent to the reversed amount.
How do I identify a negative balance in my account?
If your balance is negative due to a resettlement, you can confirm it as follows: go to My Account → History → Transactions and look for a transaction code named "Administrative deposit." To make the search easier, use the date filters and the "Other" category, where you will find these types of transactions.
